Dyeing Poison Dart Frog D. Tinctorius
Dart frogs enjoy a rain forest environment with sphagnum moss and a mix of bio range products. Many keepers combine similar species of poison dart frog in small groups in a bio set up with a mix of plants, substrates and insects which maintain the environment naturally.
Many poison dart frogs live on the forest floor of hot and humid countries, meaning that they require a cooler temperature than you may think, they enjoy temperatures of 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit. Be wary of higher temperatures over a long period of time as these can kill dart frogs.
