PRE-ORDER NOW Male Ambilobe Panther Chameleon CB18
Chameleons are well-known for their ability to change colour which is a great way to tell what kind of mood your animal is in. Many think that Chameleons change to camouflage to their surroundings which is partially true, however we can also see colour changes due to health and temperature which can be an excellent way of working out what your chameleon needs. Often when Chameleons arenﾒt happy, they will turn dark or black which can alert us to check temperatures, check humidity and increase or decrease feeding.
Panther Chameleons are from Madagascar and are differentiated by locale (where they originate), such as; Sambava, Tamatave and Nosy be, although where locale is not known some may be referred to simply as Panther Chameleon. They are thought of as ﾑdifficult to keepﾒ although like any reptile, providing you set up your enclosure correctly, they can be relatively straight forward to keep.
Many people choose to keep Male Panther Chameleons as they are generally the most bright and colourful, however keeping females also has benefits. Some of the Female Panther Chameleons can be almost as bright and colourful as the males, but with a lot more pink and peach present. Female Chameleons can be kept together providing adequate space is given, however males must be kept separate for life.
Our newest batch of Captive Bred Panther Chameleons will be available for sale towards the end of the month, and are available to pre-order now.
