ProRep Live Food Plant. Salad Burnet (10cm pot)

While salad vegetables are commonly available from the supermarket, it is now widely accepted that these are not ideal due to the types of plants and their nutritional and fibre content, and that in fact wild plants are much better.

Each plant has been grown specifically for use as a feeder plant. They are grown organically, without the use of pesticides or fertilizers. We have chosen this initial range from the types that we found were most accepted by testing them on our own reptiles.

Although we tested them for use with reptiles, they can also be used with mammals and birds.

These plants are not just small houseplants. They are a selected range of species that are ideally suited to the terrarium. This includes some of the more unusual or rare types. We have carefully selected the range so that there are plants to suit all habitats and growth patterns. There are succulents for arid environments, bromeliads, ground cover plants and epiphytes for jungle set up’s as well as aquatic plants and mosses.
