ProRep Live Plant. Hypoestes mixed (Small)
Temperature: 65-80°F (18-27°C) but can tolerate temperatures as low as 50°F (10°C).
Light: indirect light. Keep them out of direct summer sun, which can scorch the leaves and fade their bright colours.
Water: Hypoestes like humidity, so grow best in a terrarium. Water/Spray regularly. Keep the soil slightly moist but not waterlogged.
Care/Maintenance: Remove browned or dead leaves and stems to keep plants looking well. Pinching shoot tips and blooms promotes bushiness.

ProRep Live Plant. Hypoestes mixed (Small)
General Information: Hypoestes are also known as Polka Dot Plants due to their brightly coloured leaves. They are great for adding a pop of colour to indoor spaces and are relatively easy to care for. You can propagate Hypoestes from stem cuttings in water.
These plants are used in damp terrariums where they will grow as a low creeping ground cover. They prefer low light conditions, and dislike bright, hot light. Most importantly the soil must be constantly and evenly moist and the humidity high, but with good airflow. Waterlogged or stagnant conditions will cause the plants to rot.
Apart from the aesthetic appeal of a planted terrarium there are some very real, tangible benefits for the animals. Living plants provide natural cover and climbing perches, shade, basking sites and maintain natural humidity. Just as live plants in an office can improve workers well-being, live plants in a terrarium will have the same effect for animals.
