Light: Indirect sunlight to low-light conditions.
Water: Allow the soil to dry out between waterings, as overwatering can lead to root rot. Sansevierias are drought-tolerant plants and prefer to be underwatered rather than overwatered.
Care/Maintenance: Sansevierias are low-maintenance plants that thrive in neglect. They only need to be repotted every 2-3 years and can benefit from occasional wiping of their leaves to remove dust.

General Information: Sansevierias are also known as snake plants or mother-in-law’s tongue due to their long, upright leaves. They are excellent air purifiers, removing toxins such as formaldehyde and benzene from indoor environments.
A lovely, striking plant for the dry or scrub terrarium this interesting variety of the familiar “Mother in laws Tongue”. Its flat leaves do not exceed 10cm in height and it looks create planted in groups, or in combination with snake plants (Sansivaria mikado). Tolerant of a wide variety of moisture and light conditions the only things this species really doesn’t like is very low light and a wet soil.
It will tolerate drying out as it stores water in its leaves and roots so its great for direct planting into a dry or scrub terrarium as the soil does not have to be kept damp.
