ProRep Live plant. Riccia Moss (80cc cup)
Water Temperature: 59-86°F (15-30°C). This plant is best suited for aquariums with gentle water flow to prevent it from sinking to the bottom.
Light: Riccia fluitans requires moderate to high lighting levels to thrive and grow successfully. It is a versatile plant that can adapt to various light conditions, but optimal growth is achieved with brighter lighting.
Water: It is important to maintain stable water parameters, including pH levels between 6.0-7.5 and hardness between 2-15 dGH. Regular water changes and proper nutrient supplementation will help promote healthy growth of Riccia fluitans in the aquarium.
Care/Maintenance: Regularly trimming and thinning out the plant will help prevent it from becoming too dense and blocking light from reaching the lower portions. Additionally, ensuring proper circulation and aeration in the aquarium will help prevent the formation of algae on the plant’s surface.</p>

Apart from the aesthetic appeal of a planted terrarium there are some very real, tangible benefits for the animals. Living plants provide natural cover and climbing perches, shade, basking sites and maintain natural humidity. Just as live plants in an office can improve workers well-being, live plants in a terrarium will have the same effect for animals.
