General Information: Hoya carnosa variegata ‘Tricolor’ or Wax Plant ‘Tricolour’ Large is a popular houseplant which people know for its beautiful variegated leaves and clusters of star-shaped flowers. It is a low-maintenance plant that thrives in warm, bright conditions, making it ideal for the terrarium. You can plant it high up to create hanging stems.
Apart from the aesthetic appeal of a planted terrarium there are some very real, tangible benefits for the animals. Living plants provide natural cover and climbing perches, shade, basking sites and maintain natural humidity.
