Red Eyed Crocodile Skink CB

Red eyed crocodile skinks are small crocodile looking lizards due to the dorsal scales appearing spiky. Red eyes have a strong skin which feels a little like armour and offers them protection when digging around their habitat.

Red eyes enjoy substrates of soil and bark and require cooler temperatures than some lizards, preferring temperatures no hotter than 81 degrees farenheight, with an ambient of around 72-75 and a night time temp of around 70 degrees with high humidity.

Red eyes are insectivores and enjoy a mixed diet of grubs, worms and insects. They often dig down under the soil and leaves in search of their diet.
