Vietnamese Walking Stick Insect
Medauroidea extradentata, also known as the Vietnamese Walking Stick Insect, requires a well-ventilated enclosure with branches and leaves for climbing and hiding. A terrarium with a secure lid to prevent escape is recommended to keep these arboreal insects safe and comfortable.
Medauroidea extradentata prefer temperatures between 70-85°F (21-29°C) with moderate humidity levels. It is important to provide a temperature gradient within the enclosure to allow the insects to regulate their body temperature.
Vietnamese Walking Stick Insects are herbivores and primarily feed on a variety of leaves such as bramble, oak, rose, and raspberry. It is important to provide fresh food daily and ensure a varied diet to meet their nutritional needs.
