Frozen chicks are often used to encourage problem feeders but can also be used to feed a number of birds of prey and larger lizards/ crocodilians. Chicks are not recommended as a stable diet as they do not contain much nutritional value but do contain a lot of fat. They may cause loose bowel movements in snakes. 

Frozen chicks can be fed to the following:

• Birds of prey
• Problem feeders for a short period
• Large lizards/ Monitors
• Crocodilians

As part of a mixed diet.
