Tortoises enjoy a varied diet combined of plants, leaves, vegetables and some fruits depending on species. As a rule, tortoises should be fed leafy greens and watery foods like iceberg lettuce, tomatoes and peppers should be fed in moderation. Although tortoises may enjoy lettuce and other watery foods, it is important that we offer a varied diet including only small amounts as they can cause an upset tummy along with not being able to offer your tortoise all of the nutrition they need to be healthy and strong.

Dried tortoise foods may not be preferred over fresh items like Kale and collared greens, but they do include some of the flowers and plants that we may not be able to purchase at the super market.? Dried foods can be fed alone, or mixed with fresh foods to offer a variation to your tortoises normal meal.

Tortoise leaf mix is a highly nutritious blend of botanical dried leaves to be used as part of a complimentary diet. Cultivated from high quality sources specifically for herbivorous and omnivorous reptiles to help form part of healthy and balanced diet. Contains plantain, echinacea, mulberry and dandelion leaf.
