ProRep Live plant. Cryptanthus Sp. (Small)
Temperature: 60–85°F (15–27°C)
Light: Indirect light is ideal for Cryptanthus Sp. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight to prevent leaf burn.
Water: Water Cryptanthus Sp when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Be sure to use room temperature water to avoid shocking the plant.
Care/Maintenance: Keep the plant in a humid environment by misting regularly or placing a tray of water near the plant.

ProRep Live plant. Cryptanthus Sp. (Small)
General Information: Cryptanthus Sp. (Small), also known as Earth Stars, are low-maintenance plants that thrive in bright, indirect light. They are great for adding a pop of color to any terrarium with their unique foliage patterns. Propagation of Cryptanthus Sp can be done by separating offsets from the mother plant.
They will grow in bright light but you must take care not to scorch them with spot bulbs, etc. In bright light the colours are not so intense. They grow very low to the ground and are ideal in the foreground of a terrarium arrangement.
Apart from the aesthetic appeal of a planted terrarium there are some very real, tangible benefits for the animals. Living plants provide natural cover and climbing perches, shade, basking sites and maintain natural humidity. Just as live plants in an office can improve workers well-being, live plants in a terrarium will have the same effect for animals.
