Temperature: 60°F to 85°F (15°C to 29°C). Avoid placing in extreme cold or heat.
Light: Bright, indirect light or partial shade.
Water: Water thoroughly and allow plant to drain. Water when top inch of soil is dry but avoid overwatering.

General Information: Selaginella apoda, also known as the meadow spikemoss, is a low-maintenance plant that thrives in consistent temperatures between 60°F to 85°F. It is important to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged to ensure optimal growth.
Apart from the aesthetic appeal of a planted terrarium there are some very real, tangible benefits for the animals. Living plants provide natural cover and climbing perches, shade, basking sites and maintain natural humidity. Just as live plants in an office can improve workers well-being, live plants in a terrarium will have the same effect for animals.
