Light: Indirect sunlight or bright, filtered light.
Water: Water thoroughly when the top inch of soil is dry to the touch, allowing excess water to drain out of the bottom of the pot. Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot.
Care/Maintenance: Prune leggy growth to encourage bushiness and remove dead or yellowing leaves regularly.

General Information: Begonia amphioxus is a tropical plant that thrives in high humidity levels. This makes it ideal for the bio active terrarium. It is important to keep the plant away from drafts and sudden temperature changes to prevent stress on the plant.
Apart from the aesthetic appeal of a planted terrarium there are some very real, tangible benefits for the animals.
