General Information: Anthurium andraeanum is also known as flamingo flower. It is a popular houseplant known for its vibrant flowers and glossy leaves. It is native to tropical regions and thrives in high humidity levels, making it ideal for the bioactive terrarium.
Apart from the aesthetic appeal of a planted terrarium there are some very real, tangible benefits for the animals. Living plants provide natural cover and climbing perches, shade, basking sites and maintain natural humidity.
