General Information: ProRep Live plant. Selaginella ‘Peacock’ (Large), also known as spikemoss, is a low-maintenance plant that thrives in consistent temperatures between 60°F to 85°F. It is important to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged to ensure optimal growth.
Apart from the aesthetic appeal of a planted terrarium there are some very real, tangible benefits for the animals. Living plants provide natural cover and climbing perches, shade, basking sites and maintain natural humidity.
