Frog housing

There are several set-up kits availalable for your frog depending on species and age. We recommend a growing your enclosure with your pet starting at a hatchling or starter kit, with this being upgraded as they grow. Please contact us to discuss the requirements of your pet frog.

Many frogs are diurnal meaning they are mostly active during the day. Although frogs may not openly bask in the sunshine, it is still important to offer a low level UVB that matches the requirements of the species of frog you keep. Frog Healthcare

There are various healthcare products which you can use for cuts, grazes or minor ailments, along with viatmin and mineral powders which keep your pet healthy. Frogs require calcium regularly, and calcium +D3 supplement occasionally which aids in keeping bones strong and prevents health issues like MBD.

Bowls & Dishes

Frogs should be provided with a water bowl with fresh dechlorinated water daily. They may choose to soak in the bowl or use the bathroom in it. Tap water should be left uncovered for 48 hours in order to remove the chlorine or you can use a water dechlorinating product.

Live Plants

Frogs enjoy a bio-active enclosure as it promotes enrichment. Many frogs, tree frogs and others will use plants to hide, drink from and jump to to catch their food. You can use artifical plants but live plants can also be used.
