General Information: Spike Bromeliads are epiphytic plants, meaning they can grow on other plants or surfaces. They are known for their vibrant orange flower spikes that can last for several months and are a stunning addition to the terrarium. The flowers of the Orange Spoke Bromeliad are actually made up of multiple tiny flowers clustered together.

Apart from the aesthetic appeal of a planted terrarium there are some very real, tangible benefits for the animals. Living plants provide natural cover and climbing perches, shade, basking sites and maintain natural humidity.
