Autumn Fern Medium
Temperature: 60–70°F (16–21°C). Provide shade in summer and bring indoors in winter.
Light: Indirect sunlight is ideal for the Autumn Fern, as direct sunlight can scorch its delicate fronds.
Water: Water regularly and keep soil moist but not waterlogged. Prefers high humidity.
Care/Maintenance: Prune dead or dying leaves, or trim to shape.

General Information: Autumn Ferns are known for their vibrant coppery-red new growth in the spring, which gradually matures to a glossy green. They are relatively low-maintenance plants that add a pop of color to any terrarium.
Apart from the aesthetic appeal of a planted terrarium there are some very real, tangible benefits for the animals. Living plants provide natural cover and climbing perches, shade, basking sites and maintain natural humidity. Just as live plants in an office can improve workers well-being, live plants in a terrarium will have the same effect for animals.
These plants are not just small houseplants. They are a selected range of species that are ideally suited to the terrarium, including some of the more unusual or rare types.
